A Tribute to Great Ships
The Great Ships Showcase, a campaign of the Pacific Battleship Center and National Museum of the Surface Navy, is an immersive exhibit featuring a 68-foot-long high-definition LED wall that brings the history of the U.S. Navy’s fleet to life. Through a dynamic display of 15 featured ships, 90 identifier ships, and 500 fleet ships, this installation highlights the power, scale, and significance of surface ships throughout history. Interactive elements allow visitors to explore individual ships, learning about their missions, stories, and impact on naval operations. With a total budget of $2,500,000, this experience is made possible through the generous support of the Edward E. and Marie L. Matthews Foundation, the Presenting Sponsor, and ship sponsors like you.
