Life of a Sailor*
Honor the Legacy. Preserve the Stories. Celebrate the Crew.*A campaign of the Pacific Battleship Center, a 501(c)3 non-profit.
Honoring Sailors
Life as a Sailor brings the stories of Surface Navy sailors to life through full-size, self-supporting photographic reproductions placed throughout the museum’s immersive experience. Representing “the crew”—the men and women who have served at sea since our nation’s founding—these figures create a powerful connection between visitors and those who stood the watch. Through two sponsorship levels, you can honor legendary and named sailors as Legacy Sailors or sponsor a themed experience sailor as part of Fleet Sailors, placing them in a setting that reflects their real-life role aboard a ship. By sponsoring a sailor, you help ensure their service, sacrifice, and contributions are preserved in the National Museum of the Surface Navy for future generations. Join us in keeping their legacy alive.
