Life of a Sailor Showcase

 

Step into the lives of sailors, following journeys of everyday Americans whose courage and determination continue to shape our maritime legacy. The entry experience of the National Museum of the Surface Navy welcomes guests and sailors alike for roll call and an immersive introduction to various eras, ranks, and branches of sea service. While navigating the experience, guests will encounter service members in passageways, showcases, and other spaces aboard to gain context of their service. Sailors may speak to those passing by, or even interact with them via digital screens or two-way video communication.
