PLANK OWNER RECOGNITION LEVELS

Becoming a Plank Owner is always free, but you can work your way up to your goal recognition level with your aggregate donation amount.  If you want to lock-in a certain level, once you pass it, you can email development@surfacenavymuseum.org to ask them to lock it for you.  Your donations will continue to count for Haze Gray points accrual, but your recognition level will remain (this is especially important for those that are interested in being at an equivalent rank they last served in).

Numbers below are aggregate donations over your lifetime.

SEAMAN ($25-$99)
PETTY OFFICER ($100-$249)
CHIEF ($250-$499)
WARRANT ($500-$999)
LIEUTENANT ($1,000-$2,499)
COMMANDER ($2,500-$4,999)
CAPTAIN ($5,000-$9,999)
ADMIRAL ($10,000-$24,999)
FLEET ADMIRAL ($25,000-$49,999)

Donations at $50,000 or above receive custom recognition benefits.  Please email development@labattleship.com to discuss a legacy gift of any amount over $50,000.

How Plank Owner membership levels work:

Plank Owner is a recognition system and all donations count towards the Haze Gray points system.  This system is still under development, we will be revealing benefits and more information in the first quarter of 2022.

Consider a monthly donation – configured from your profile page – and see your Plank Owner membership level rise over time.

Every donation made to Pacific Battleship Center or the National Museum of the Surface Navy counts toward your plank owner level regardless of where or how the donation is made. Please note that it may take several days for your donation to show up on the plank owner system. We are working hard to simplify the donation process and to consolidate the systems we use so that there will be a simple and standard place, look and feel for supporters like you.
